AI-generated discussion themes

The Topics section displays AI-generated themes and subjects explored across all client sessions.

Display​

Title shows count: "Topics (X)" where X is total number of topics

Default view: First 2 topics displayed

Expand/collapse button: Shows all topics or returns to 2-topic view

Topic Cards​

Each topic includes:

  • Topic Title: Main theme (e.g., "Family Relationships", "Work Stress")
  • Summary: AI-generated description of discussions related to this topic
  • References: Clickable chips showing session dates where topic was discussed

References​

Click any date chip to:

  • Navigate to that specific session note
  • View context of topic discussion
  • Review related session content

Chips show formatted dates (e.g., "Jan 5th, 2024")

How Topics are Generated​

Topics are created through AI analysis after notes are approved. The system:

  • Analyzes all approved session notes
  • Identifies recurring themes
  • Groups related discussions
  • Links topics to specific sessions

Empty State​

If no topics exist, it means:

  • Not enough approved notes yet
  • AI analysis still processing
  • Requires multiple sessions for pattern recognition
