Add A Service

Create specific service offerings with custom pricing

Offer multiple service types to your clients with flexible pricing options. Each service gets a unique ID that you can use for direct booking links.

Instead of offering generic "sessions," you can create specific service offerings that reflect your expertise and specializations, with transparent pricing that builds trust with potential clients.

Why Create Multiple Services?

Multiple service offerings allow you to structure your practice professionally and cater to different client needs:

  • Individual Therapy — $120/hour
  • Couples Counseling — $150/hour
  • Group Session — $80/hour
  • Initial Consultation — Free

Each service can have its own pricing, description, and booking flow, giving clients clear options and helping establish your expertise in specific therapeutic areas.

  • Display it in your services list

Unique Service IDs

Every service you create gets a unique identifier (UUID) that looks like:

a1b2c3d4-e5f6-7890-abcd-ef1234567890

This ID allows clients to book specific services directly and prevents them from selecting other services during booking.

How to Find Your Service ID

  1. Go to Profile Settings
  2. Find your service in the "Services You Offer" section
  3. Each service card displays its unique ID at the bottom
  4. Click the copy icon to copy the service ID to your clipboard

Use your service ID to create direct booking links that auto-select a specific service:

Link Format:

https://serene.vybz.health/user/[your-username]?service=[service-id]

Example:

https://serene.vybz.health/user/dr-smith?service=a1b2c3d4-e5f6-7890-abcd-ef1234567890

When clients visit a direct service link:

  • Auto-selected service — The specified service is pre-selected
  • Streamlined booking — Clients can't switch to other services
  • Focused experience — Clear pricing and description for that specific service
  • Marketing flexibility — Use different links for different campaigns

  • Social media — Share direct links for promoted services
  • Website integration — Embed specific service booking buttons
  • Referral links — Send colleagues links to specific offerings

What Can Be Edited?

You can modify all service details:

  • Service Name — Change how the service appears to clients
  • Pricing — Adjust rates or switch between paid/free

  • This action cannot be undone

Service Display Order

Services appear on your public booking page in the order they were created. The most recently added service appears first.

Best Practices

Here are proven strategies for optimal service setup:

Service Naming

  • Use clear, professional names that reflect your expertise
  • Include session type and duration when relevant
  • Avoid technical jargon that clients might not understand
  • Consider your therapeutic specialization areas

Pricing Strategy

  • Research local market rates for your services
  • Consider offering a free consultation service
  • Use round numbers when possible (e.g., $120 instead of $117.50)
  • The platform supports any currency and pricing structure

Service Descriptions

  • Focus on benefits and outcomes for clients
  • Mention session duration and format
  • Include your therapeutic approach or specialization
  • Keep it concise but informative (150 character limit)
  • Use service-specific links in marketing materials
  • Create QR codes for offline marketing and referrals
  • Track which services get the most direct bookings through your dashboard analytics
  • Update links when you modify services

What Happens Next?

After creating services, clients visiting your public booking page will see:

  1. Service selection step — Choose from your available services
  2. Clear pricing — Each service shows its specific price
  3. Service descriptions — Clients can read what each service includes
  4. Streamlined booking — Once selected, they proceed with date/time selection

Your services also appear in your Dashboard analytics, helping you track which services are most popular and generate the most bookings.

Pro Tip: Analytics show that mental health professionals who start with 2-3 core services see higher conversion rates than those with too many options. You can always expand your service offerings based on client demand and booking patterns.
